Tina Conde was appointed in 2017 to serve on the Avondale City Council in the capacity of Council Member; her term began in September of 2017.
Councilmember Conde has been involved in her community for many years. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for A New Leaf – West Valley, is a Commissioned Leader at Skyway Church, and serves as chairperson for the Avondale Interfaith Council. She serves on the board of the Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank, is a representative on the Avondale Interfaith Council Group, on the Avondale Contributions Assistance Review Committee, and on the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Human Services Coordinating Committee.
A realtor by profession, Tina is also a member of WeMAR – West Maricopa Association of Realtors and has been a member of the National Association of Realtors since 2002. Deeply passionate about the community, Councilmember Conde founded Ascend Housing Resource in 2014, a non-profit organization that provides transitional housing to those that do not meet the qualifications for traditional housing. In 2015 Ascend Housing was awarded the Community Star Award by the Governor’s Office of Faith & Community Partnerships. Tina is married and has 3 daughters.
